JMAC GIVES BACK FOOTBALL CAMP: JUNE 17, 2017
The JMac Gives Back Football Camp is a one-day youth program with a philanthropic twist.
Unlike most camps, registration is not initial open to the public. Instead, JMac Gives Back uses the help from their Saint Louis network of teachers, counselors and community leaders, to initially fill the camp roster by invitation only. The foundation seeks out campers, ages 8-16, who due to financial or family circumstances would not typically be able to afford a camp with a staff of such magnitude.
Staying true to our mission, we then take a day these kids could only imagine in their dreams and make it a reality. Our camp counselors are primarily past NFL and Collegiate athletes who are all there for the kids. Maclin’s passion for the foundation, team leadership, and the impact on the community is powerful enough to encourage others to support the cause. This collective belief in the mission brings in a star studded roster made up of past and present teammates such as Jamaal Charles, Travis Kelce, Charcandrick West, Chris Conley, Albert Wilson, and Ross Travis. Additional players who have volunteered time to coach at camp include Adrian Clayborn (Atlanta Falcons), Justin Britt (Seattle Seahawks) and former and current University of Missouri players Mike Scherer, Drew Lock, Kevin Rutland, Will Franklin and Denario Alexander.
The foundation is very passionate about creating small, yet impactful and memorable moments for kids who may struggle to find the drive and influence they need to succeed. To help fuel that fire, the one-day FREE camp is packed with the expected drills and scrimmages but also time for the counselors to share their personal struggles, motivational stories, and answer any life or football questions from campers on a personal 1-on-1 level.
The kids leave camp with memories and inspiration, but also a t-shirt, free lunch, goody bag of treats from our sponsors and an opportunity at the end of camp to meet and get autographs with all of the camp counselors.

JMAC'S MOTHERS DAY MIRACLE
This past Mother’s Day, JMac Gives Back teamed up with Operation Breakthrough, a Kansas City non-profit, to give nine deserving Kansas City single moms a Mother's Day that they will never forget.
Jeremy challenged Operation Breakthrough students ranging from elementary through high school to compose a letter expressing their love and appreciation for their mothers or significant female figures in their life. Students who did best conveying that appreciation were chosen to accompany their mothers for a special surprise trip to Arrowhead.
Nine mothers received an invitation to an exclusive Mother's Day trip, which was kept in secret leading up to the event.
Both the students and their mothers received a personal tour of Arrowhead Stadium, followed by a series of unexpected surprises. Jeremy surprised the mothers following their tour, showering them with flowers and personalized gifts on behalf of their deserving child leaving no eye dry in the room.
The Chiefs Outreach Team did a great job putting together the story: http://www.chiefs.com/news/article-2/Jeremy-Maclin-Surprises-Nine-Kansas-City-Moms-for-Mother%E2%80%99s-Day/bd5ee0d5-6adf-44cb-b35b-ab282a090913
JMAC'S BACK TO SCHOOL PACKS: JULY 22, 2017
With a strong focus on the power of education, Jeremy is committed to providing the opportunity of preparation to many student in the Saint Louis area. For the past six years, Jeremy has held an event titled “JMac’s Back To School Packs” at his alma mater, Kirkwood High School.
At Jeremy’s event, he presents a message of the importance of hard work and education before distributing fully stocked backpacks to over 300 students from grades K-12. This event has helped over 100 families in need each year. These fully stocked backpacks provide each student with the reassurance that they will never be embarrassed or unprepared because their family is unable to afford the essential supplies needed for the upcoming school year.
The students and families are selected through recommendations of teachers, counselors and after school organizations. We aspire to continue to grow our numbers year after year.
